Christmas Celebration with Orphan children – Some of us are lucky to be able to spend time and celebrate festivals with our loved ones, family and friends. But not all of us have that fortune and what better than to share and spread some love during the holiday season. Come and celebrate the joy of Christmas with orphans and abandoned children.

Jeevodaya Charitable Trust is organizing this event and over 600 children from various orphanages are expected participate. Contact the organizers on how to help or participate. At Marianiketan Premises, St.Mary’s Town, Near Ascension Church Premises, Da’Costa Square.

Christmas Carnival – The best thing about any holiday season is the fun atmosphere, carnivals with food stalls, shops selling Christmas tree décor and more. To relive all of that fun come to Bethany High school in Koramangala and enjoy our Christmas Carnival, being put up by ICPF Bangalore and Bethany High School. There is going to be a special performance featuring “Parra” band live in concert! So bring your friends, family and enjoy the most awaited time of the year. At Bethany High, Koramangala, 6:00 pm.

Open Spaces – The meaning of Christmas – This one is for all the little ones aged 5 to 12 years. Come to Open Spaces – the family engagement hub for an evening of fun and festival magic, We will play some games, experience the Christmas story and you can make your own Christmas decorations, design your Christmas cookies and sing, dance and end the evening with Santa. The cost for the evening is Rs 250/-. At Open Spaces, Kothanur, 3:30 to 6:00 pm.

Christmas Gathering at Holy Ghost Church – This is a community Christmas celebration so everybody is welcome to register themselves to perform and present songs, dance or act. Parents can register their kids for performances. They also need volunteers for the program to manage finance, marketing, logistics, purchase and event management. If you are local choir group then let the organizers know as they are looking for someone to run the 2014 Christmas Mass Choir. At Holy Ghost Church Community Hall, Richards Town.

Honeybees Jingle, Jangle and Mingle All the Way – This is for all our canine friends and dog lovers! Come and share your time and joys with geriatric dogs, who as they say are maybe old in body but not in spirits. Come with your kids, family and friends and bring some soft treats and squeaky toys. You can just mingle and play with the adorable dogs or even adopt some dogs from the Mylappanahalli Geriatric Center for dogs (MGC). The event is limited to 15 kids and accompanying adults so hurry up and register for FREE. The event is for age group 2 years and above. At Mylappanahalli Geriatric Center for Dogs, Yelahanka. 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

Pre Christmas party featuring DJ Monk – What is any festival without some dancing and partying? Head to No Limmits Lounge and Pub where Pulse Media presents an occassion to dance, drink and have a fun evening and night. DJ Monk, DJ Shaik and Gatez  will be there to belt out some feet tapping numbers. Ladies walk in free and stags need to pay Rs 300/. At No Limits Lounge and Pub,Magrath Road, Near Brigade Road, 12 noon onwards.

Christmas Carnival at St Joseph’s Boys’ High School – With Christmas just around the corner head to St Joseph’s Boy’s High School to have a lot of fun. They will be having a Christmas carnival with a lot of rides, games, food stalls, music and other entertainment. Pick up hangings for your Christmas tree or things to stuff your stockings with. There will be something to do for everyone. Join the fun! At St Joseph’s Boy’s High School, Museum Road.

Christmas Special Baking – Christmas reminds us of baking – be it rich cakes or warm fresh cookies. Learn how to bake traditional Christmas goodies like Plum Cake, Ginger bread cupcakes, cookies with royal icing and Mince pie. You can then bake these finger licking treats and relish them with your family and friends at home.
